Welcome!

The chair is dedicated to current media-cultural phenomena from an educational science perspective. In research and teaching, we address questions of learning, education and subjectivation processes in the context of digitality. The focus here is on informal settings, such as maker or gaming culture. Among other things, we draw on practice-, discourse- and biography-analytical approaches and are concerned with the development of innovative research approaches in the field of educational media research.
