Prof. Dr. Patrick Bettinger
Patrick Bettinger studied educational science with a focus on media education and adult education at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. After working as a research assistant at the University of Augsburg and the Hamburg Center for University Teaching and Learning (HUL) at the University of Hamburg, he was Junior Professor of Educational Media Research at the University of Cologne from 2018 to 2020. There followed positions as Professor of Media Education at the Zurich University of Education and the Heidelberg University of Education. Since October 2023, he has held the Chair of Educational Science with a focus on digital media cultures at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
